For this project we had to write our own script for our traditional Spanish dish we planned to make, During this project we had to learn new vocabulary and how to make commands in Spanish. This project for me was a great learning experience because I was able to experience a script that was made of phrases or commands I would use in a real life conversation. The process before we made our videos was where we had to do a skit where we improvised our lines which made me have to think about what I wanted to say and how I wanted to say it. This put me in the shoes of someone who goes to a new country and how they would handle it, For me this style of project was very helpful because it is a lot easier to just read a script then to have to really think and come up with what you want to say off the top of your mind.
Here is the recipe and script we created:
Prepara la receta:
Precalienta el horno a 350 grados (preheat oven)
Primero, corta los dátiles. (cut the dates)
Pon queso crema dentro de los dátiles. (put cream cheese in the dates)
Despues, envuelve los dátiles en tocino. (wrap dates in bacon)
Pon un palillo [pal-ee-llo] en el centro de cada pedazo (put toothpicks through the dates)
Cocinar las tapas:
Pon tapas en la hoja
Pon tapas en el horno
Cocina por 15 minutos
Here is the video my partner and I created on a tapas dish that has bacon, dried figs and cream cheese in them.
